WHO WE ARE

The experienced Innovative Logistics Hawaii team is led by former Honolulu City Council Chairman Ikaika Anderson and former Honolulu City Councilmember Alan Kekoa Texeira.

 

Ikaika Anderson served on the Honolulu City Council from 2009 to 2020.  A former chairman and presiding officer of the Council, Ikaika has mastered the legislative process and the art of bringing people together to reach consensus on difficult matters. As chairman of the Zoning and Planning Committee for more than six years, Ikaika gained a thorough understanding of land use policy and county code compliance. His 20 years of public service have allowed Ikaika to build lasting friendships in county government across Hawaii, including at the state and federal levels of government. Ikaika is a graduate of The Kamehameha Schools at Kapalama, and the University of Hawaii at Manoa where he earned degrees in journalism and political science.

 

Alan Kekoa Texeira served as a member of the Honolulu City Council from 2020 to 2021.  As a Councilmember, Alan demonstrated his skill to shape and guide policy through the government process. Through the course of his 15 years in public service, Alan also served as a chief of staff in the Hawaii State Senate and Deputy Chief of Staff at the Honolulu City Council. In addition to a solid background in crafting government policy, Alan's private sector experience includes sales and marketing executive representing the Hawaii region of a large American company. Alan is a graduate of Kailua High School and the University of Hawaii at Manoa where he earned a degree in political science.
